M/T Oceanus I (SDMT)
Built at Götaverken, Gothenburg as new construction, hull number 549. She was delivered in November 1940. After the delivering she was up laid until the autumn 1944 then she get in ballast bound for Argentina to loading 13.200 tons of grain. She was sold 1949 to Billners Rederi AB in Gothenburg and renamed to Rolf Billner. In 1959 sold to Rederi AB Transoil in Gothenburg and renamed to Zelos. 1960 she was rebuilt to an ore-bulker at Götaverken. 1967 she was transferred to Salénrederierna in Stockholm. She was scrapped in Taiwan 1968. She weighed 15.400 Dw.tons and had a speed at 14 knots. Oceanus was equipped with one 8 - cylinder Götaverkens 2 -stroke single acting Olsson - engine delivering 7.000 i.h.p. Oceanus first commander was C. H.Tydén and chief engineer T. A. A. Krokström.
